Conference Producer
REF: CP01 Salary: Competitive
Tired of churning our the same old conferences? Need to unleash your enterprenuial spirit? Love to research? Dying to work on truly world class events?

As a result of our agressive expansion, WTG North America is looking for a top-notch experienced conference producer.

The role invovles:

  • extensive industry research and analysis
  • developing the program for 4-5 truly world class conferences a year
  • securing C-level experts onto our programs
  • working closely with our large sales and marketing force
  • driving event profitability and uncovering new revenue streams
  • on-site conference management and networking

List Researcher
REF: MKT04 Salary: $10 hourly
Full time or Part time

The List researcher is responsible for researching various businesses through the internet and telephone and contacting them to obtain specific information which will be used to direct marketing campaigns. No selling is required, however the ability to communicate effectively, persuasively with a pleasant phone manner is key.

Required skills:

  • strong work ethic
  • excellent team player
  • professional telephone manner

No experience is required however, previous list research, sales, customer service or call centre experience is preferred.

Recruitment Assistant
REF: HR01 Salary: Competitive

As part of the Recruitment Team, the role requires the incumbent to work in a quick, enthusiastic and professional manner to fill open positions. The Recruitment Assistant is responsible for:

  • placing advertisements on exsiting and new mediums to attract candidates
  • downloading, collating and processing resumes and tracking response rates
  • telephone screening of candidates and scheduling interviews
  • conducting first and second round interviews
  • coordinating induction and training process for new employees

Event Assistant
REF: OPS03 Salary: Competitive

The Event Assistant is responsible for assisting the Operations team with a wide range of tasks. They are invovled with most operational aspects of the evetn, as well as scheduling of meetings for certain events, working across the whole portfolio of events. Responsibilities include:

  • acting as point of client liaison for event delegates via telephone, email and on-site
  • maintain and update the meeting catalogue/admin site
  • liaising with operations team and Event Manager
  • working with the Event Manager and assiting with the operational build up to and at events, including trouble shooting, working with venue and contractors
  • organizing accomodation and travel for event staff and attendees as requested
  • preparing on day delegate packs and ensuring supplies and equipment is in tact

Speaker Coordinator
REF: OPS02 Salary: Competitive

The Speaker Coordinator role requires excellent command of the English language and the ability to communicate effectively with high level executives over the telephone. Responsibilities include:

  • liaising with speakers regarding presentation materials and enquiries
  • managing speaker budgets for all events
  • travel to the U.S. to attend all events (averaging once a month)

The successful candidate must be detail oriented and work well under pressure in a deadline driven environment independently and as part of a a team.

Event Manager
REF: OPS01 Salary: Competitive

The Event Coordinator works as part of the Operations team and is responsible for the logistics and execution of an event. It is a multi-faceted role requiring strong multi-tasking and strong communication skills. This position requires travel to our US based events for approximately 3-4 days per month, once per month. The Event Coordinator is responsible for:

  • venue liaison - booking & organizing accommodations, catering, costs
  • working with deadlines and budgets
  • contractor/logistical services, staffing, transport, scheduling
  • pre/post event attendee communication, coordinating and trouble shooting

Applicants must have a minimum of 1-2 years event coordinating experience and/or a ceritificate in Event Management from an accredited College or University or professional designation.

Graphic Designer
REF: MKT03 Salary: Competitive

The Graphic Designer works as part of the Marketing Department and must have experience in print-focused graphics design working with PC and Mac platforms and working with Adobe CS2 or CS3, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady, Dreamweaver and Quark. The role is responsible for:

  • all design collateral allocation and prioritization
  • the creative direction and prepartion of all print based deign for WTG North America events
  • promotional web based collateral such as full website design, banners, and buttons and have the ability to make basic website changes
  • collaborating with the Marketing team
  • demonstrating industry knowledge and keeping to date with technologies and design techniques

Marketing Manager
REF: MKT02 Salary: Competitive

The Marketing Manager works as part of a dynamic marketing team alongside graphic designers, list researchers as well as sales teams in directing marketing initiatives. The role requires minimum one year of B2B direct marketing experience and a recognized marketing degree/diploma. The Marketing Manager role involves:

  • creating and executing marketing campaigns/plans/strategies
  • negotiating contracts with external parties, institutions, associations, etc.
  • all aspects of DB marketing; including online markeitng, direct meailing and database manipulation
  • a high level of IT literacy

The next successful incumbent to the role must be commercially minded, have a positive team attitude and be able to manage multiple campaigns at one time while working under pressure.

Finance Assistant

The finance team is a group of dedicated employees who on a day to day basis, work on account payments and collections as well as ensures that the financial aspect of the organization is sound. The Finance Assistants role involves:

  • working with general accounts receivables/account payables function using QuickBooks software
