Jeff Warmann
Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development,
Frontier Refining & Marketing Inc.

Jeff is responsible for evaluating new technologies, developing new opportunities and strategic relationships with other companies, and stewarding the long range strategic plan for both of Frontier's Refineries. In addition, Jeff works closely with both refineries to help manage the capital expenditure plan. Jeff has been in the refining and petroleum marketing business for 24 years, working with such companies as Western Refining Company, Williams Energy Marketing and Trading, International Alliance Group, Warmann Oil Company, and Fina Oil & Chemical.

Jeff has an MBA from University of Missouri-St. Louis and a BS in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Flemming Rasmussen
Head of Business Development, Oil Trading & Supply North America, StatoilHydro Marketing & Trading (US) Inc.

Mr. Rasmussen holds a degree as Chemical Engineer from the Danish Technical University and a Diploma in International Trade and Management from Copenhagen Business School. Mr. Rasmussen has got more than 20 years of experience within the Oil Industry. He joined StatoilHydro’s refinery in Kalundborg in 1987 and has since then held a range of different positions mainly within the midstream and downstream areas. Most recently Mr. Rasmussen worked as Advisor in Oil Trading and Supply based in Stavanger, Norway after which Mr. Rasmussen was appointed Head of Business Development in North America based in Stamford, CT.

Debbie Pietrusik
Director of Hydrocarbon Cluster Development, Alberta Finance and Enterprise

Debbie has been Director of Hydrocarbon Cluster Development with Alberta Finance and Enterprise since March 2008. Previously, Debbie held positions with Alberta Economic Development and Alberta Energy focusing on energy related policy and hydrocarbon development strategies.

Debbie has over 20 years of government experience related to the energy industry primarily on the development of Alberta’s oil sands resource from extraction to downstream processing and in building the government’s value-add vision for maximizing the value of the oil sands resources into higher valued products for global markets.

Alastair Painter
Business Development Leader and a Principal Consultant,
DNV

Alastair has more than 20 years experience in the energy industries, the last 12 of which have focused on assisting major energy operators with reliability and asset performance issues. Alastair has an honors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom. He is widely recognized in the industry as a subject matter expert in Performance Simulation and its application to upstream E&P facilities, refineries and petrochemical plants.

Jens Erik Thygesen
Senior Manager Offshore Technology, Dong Energy

Mr. Thygesen has 30 years of experience within oil and gas production and transport. His experience ranges from project management for design construction and commissioning, to operations and lifetime expansion of on and offshore production and pipeline transmissions.

Mr. Thygesen has worked as DONG Energy´s representative in Pipeline Research Committee International for many years, dealing specifically with offshore pipelines. Mr. Thygesen represents the Danish North Sea Operators Committee DK in the Danish Diving Council. He has extensive technical experience within energy and power installations, thermal and nuclear power plants, as well as in project management and organisational planning. He participated from the outset in the Danish hydrocarbon pipeline systems planning, design and construction and later headed the operation and maintenance of the offshore oil and gas transmission systems.

David de Miranda
Principal Pipeline Engineer, Gassco
David Rodrigues de Miranda is Gassco’s project manager for the Tampen Link 2008/2009 project completion work scope. He worked for Shell International from 1986 to 2005 in various locations around the world and has been involved in onshore and offshore pipeline engineering, projects, production operations, HSE management and asset integrity management. He is currently responsible for the integrity management of Gassco’s UK pipelines and associated onshore and offshore pipeline facilities at Nyhamna, Easington, St Fergus, Sleipner and Statfjord. He holds a Master of Engineering degree in Maritime Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool, UK
Rob Klein Nagelvoort
General Manager Gas Technology, Shell Global Solutions
Rob Klein Nagelvoort received his degree in radiation physics from Delft Technical University, Nuclear Reactor Institute in 1969. During his military service, he developed a night vision system and soon after, joined the Royal Dutch/Shell Group in The Hague. After various jobs in refining technology, Rob joined the LNG and Gas Technology Group in 1974. His subsequent work included the design and servicing of LNG and gas extraction plants in Brunei, Malaysia, Australia, Oman, Nigeria, Russia and Scotland. Other postings took him to Malaysia and Australia. Following his experience of more than 30 years in gas/LNG technology and implementation, Rob became VP of Gas Technology for Shell Worldwide. His current job covers the development and licensing of LNG technologies, treating technologies and natural gas schemes in general. Rob holds several patents on gas liquefaction and processing and is member of the series of LNG conferences and the International Gas Union.
Captain Mark K. Lane
Vice President, Operations, Excelerate Energy
Captain Mark K. Lane, Vice President of Operations at Excelerate Energy, LLC, is a Master Mariner licensed by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) to command ships of unlimited size and horsepower on any waters of the world. Captain Lane has been sailing as a licensed merchant officer since 1979, accumulating over four thousand days of documented sea time. He was ‘Master-in-Command’ of LNG carriers, Panamax bulk carriers, offshore supply vessels and large private yachts and has completed voyages around the world including passages into the North Sea, Baltic Sea, Arabian Sea and the Persian Gulf along with passages across the four oceans of the world with numerous transits through some of the most heavily trafficked confined waters in the world, such as the Singapore Strait, Captain Lane graduated from Maine Maritime Academy (MMA) in 1979, with a BSc in nautical science and completed a minor concentration of study in business administration and transportation. Before coming to Excelerate Energy, Captain Lane provided professional services to firms such as BG LNG Services, Tidewater Marine, and law firms in Florida, Louisiana and New York.
