For Immediate Release – 12th July 2010

World Trade Group Storms Sunday Times Fast Track

World Trade Group, a leading corporate events and media company, has leapt into The Sunday Times International Track 100 ranking 22nd in the top 100 list of Britain’s private companies with the fastest growing international sales.

Founded in 1997, WTG is a leading Global Integrated Media Company specialising business to business events, webinars and training courses across sectors including energy, pharmaceuticals, HR, manufacturing and supply chain.

Andrew Brown, Group Managing Director, WTG commented: “WTG’s success in international sales is exceptional considering the difficult economic backdrop, it is a testament to the quality of our International events, our people, together with our client focused approach that has made the difference.   The achievement is even greater considering we are the only events business to have made the Fast Track 100 listing.”

WTG’s exceptional performance can be quantified by a 99.11% increase in international sales from £2.7m in 2007 to £10.5m at the end of 2009, forming part of an impressive list of privately-owned companies that have grown their international sales by an average of 83% a year over two years to a combined total of £2.2bn*
