Data protection consent

You [and any of your employees, servants, officers and/or agents (the “Representatives”)] hereby acknowledge and agree that details of your and any Representative’s name, address and payment record, and any other personal data submitted to World Trade Group Limited (“WTG”) may be processed by WTG (or by WebEx Communications Inc. on WTG’s behalf).

By submitting any personal data, you and each of your Representatives warrant and confirm your consent to the processing of such data by WTG or third parties on its behalf. By providing your or any other person’s personal data to us or any other Representatives, you confirm that you are happy for us to process that data and you warrant that you have obtained the relevant person’s consent to such processing. You agree to ensure that, and your Representatives agree that each of you will at all times comply with all applicable law in respect of such data (including the Data Protection Act 1998) which shall remain World Trade Group’s confidential information and that hereby indemnify WTG against all costs, claims, demands, fees and expenses in respect of any breach of this clause.

The personal data collected by WTG will be used to provide the services set out in the terms and conditions to enable you and your Representatives to engage in such activities as are made available to you on www.wtgevents.com (the “Website”). WTG collects your information in order to record, support and facilitate your and any Representative’s participation on the Website. The information is used provide access to the Website and other benefits that may be made available to registered users. By participating in a Webinar you consent to WTG sending your personal data to the sponsor and/or speaker of that event, who may be located outside the European Economic Area. Your and your Representatives’ personal information is also used to track your website preferences and keep you informed within the community unless you have opted not to receive such communications or such communications are prohibited by law. WTG may collect information about the use of the services and the Website, such as the number of downloads, types of services used, how many users we receive daily, and the IP/Internet address of your and your Representatives’ computer. WTG may use this data for improving the Website and services and providing more relevant experiences to our clients/sponsors and for statistical analysis.
